LCF or MMU for Fashion Marketing?

Hi,

I got an offers to study fashion marketing masters in both Manchester Metropolitan and London College of Fashion.

Anyone has an advice on which is better in terms of teaching and career prospect? Thanks very much

Hi @superpower girl!

Congrats on your offer from Man Met!

Our MSc International Fashion Marketing course is CIM accredited - allowing you to gain professional qualifications through the CIM Graduate Gateway and ensuring students are equipped with the best opportunities for a career in marketing. The Manchester Fashion Institute also has over 400 industrial partners which means our students can benefit from industry-focused teaching, networking, and briefings.

Unlike most similar MSc courses, students will develop an appreciation for the underlying commercial, psychological, sociological and anthropological aspects of fashion and apply these perspectives when debating and researching various aspects of the fashion system and the role of marketing within it.

In terms of career prospects, MSc International Fashion Marketing graduates have gone into the likes of brand management, content marketing and communications and PR.

If you'd like to know more about what it's like to study the course, I recommend getting in touch with Chloe on TAP who'll answer any questions you have🙂

I hope this helps!

I been swayed
Hey, so from what I know - the masters at LCF is a bit more creative aligned and the one at Manchester would be more technical.

Why don’t you look at the alumni on LinkedIn, the course leaders and see what interests you more.
From a outsider POV LCF is ranked way higher and I guess has better opportunities in the fashion industry. London also plays an important part because you’d get to attend London fashion week and collaborate with brands.
