Physics at leeds

Any Uni of Leeds physics students?

I was wondering how much nuclear physics is in the course, because it doesn't seem like yhere is much on website?
The IoP sets out the scope of nuclear physics content required to be included in accredited physics degrees, and it's not a great deal. Typically most unis will do a module in nuclear and particle physics in third year and often that will be the extent of nuclear content. Leeds actually has slightly more than most as it appears to have an option in nuclear energy related topics from outside of physics available to physics students.

If you're particularly interested in nuclear physics I would suggest looking at Imperial, Birmingham, or Surrey which off the top of my head I believe have more options in nuclear science/technology. Note if your interest is in fusion then you probably want to be looking at offerings in nuclear fusion, magnetohydrodynamics, and related areas. Also note that some may offer options in nuclear fusion in terms of terrestrial energy research while others may teach about it in terms of astrophysics.

You might also want to explore nuclear engineering/science degrees - aside from Birmingham/Surrey which I noted, Leeds and Lancaster I believe have separate courses in this area.
