Queen Mary University best campus accommodation?

Hi, I currently hold an offer from QMUL and I was wondering what student/on-campus accommodation is recommended (from a student's perspective)?

I would really reccommend going for the accommodation available in Maurice Court / Beaumont Court / Creed Court. I stayed in this type of accommodation and it was very nicely furnished - we had big desks and lots of shelfspace as well as ensuites, which I really valued. The kitchen was really the only thing letting it down. Other places like Pooley and Feilden House have very similar rooms and much nicer looking kitchens but you share them with loads of people so that's not great. Maynard/Varey/Chesney and all those other little houses by the canalside are nice but sparcely furnished so not exactly ideal.

France House has a reputation as a good place, purely because it has double beds. It is otherwise very similar to Maynard/Varey/Chesney.

There are other halls, like Albert Stern or Stocks Court, which are outside of campus. Not too far off (literal five minute walk) but something to consider.

Also, I found that the images in the online tours of the accommodations are an accurate reflection of what your room will look like. There will be a few minor differences, but what you see there is what you'll get :smile:

HI! I lived in Sherren House for 10 months and I absolutely loved it. Now, I am looking for someone to take over my contract that ends in September. The room is really nice, two windows, ensuite bathroom. Maybe you'd like to get familiar with the area. I could send you more pics/ do an online viewing. Thank you!!!!!
