OPINIONS: 14 yr and 25 yr together

Think about this: a 14 year old and 25 year old later in life get married. Anybody think that's weird? Or who doesn't define a relationship based off from age?

Not weird as long as they start talking/ get married after the 14 is legal
Great big yikes from me.

They did get married later. I think the girl (14) was 30-ish and the boy (25) was 41-ish

If I were you, I wouldn’t. You’re age isn’t a big factor but your maturity is. The older person may be taking advantage because they can clearly see that you aren’t mature enough. You could get yourself groomed. You also can’t legally do anything very intimate for another 2 years such as sexual intercourse. I personally wouldn’t but it’s whatever makes you happy at the end of the day.

I'm not usually one to be squeamish about age gaps in relationships and I think most of the current zeitgeist around it is stupid, but yeah, 14 is pretty much the definition of grooming, there's no grey area there.

No, they're not 14. I was just saying that so I- since I'm 14- could try to decide whether it was weird or not and try to relate or whatever. They are NOT 14 and 25.

...so what did they do at that age then?

Reply 12

They were with people their own age.

Reply 13

They didn't meet until one was 20-ish and the other was 31-ish.

Reply 14

so they met when they were 25 and 41?

This makes no sense whatsoever.

I was just saying 14 and 25 because I'm 14. I was trying to say like- IF they were together when one was my age, if it would be weird.
