Bournemouth or Plymouth

I don’t know what uni to chose out of Bournemouth or Plymouth. I could really use some insight to what both unis are like to help inform my decision.

My name is Will, I'm a Media Production Student at Bournemouth University.
Great to hear you are interested in Bournemouth. It's an amazing university and I definitely do not regret choosing to go here.
I see you haven't mentioned what subject you are applying for so i will tell you about BU in general and you can follow up with any subject specific questions afterwards.

BU as a uni is perfectly situated being part of an urban, bustling town, in close proximity to both the coast and the new forest making it a perfect place for day trips & it is well connected with an expansive bus network and train routes being on the SouthWestern Railway (which goes all the way into London!!)
The university itself is split into two campuses, Talbot and Lansdowne. Lansdowne is what we describe as the City Campus. It's split into two buildings: Bournemouth Gateway Building (Home of Health and Social Sciences) & Executive Business Centre (Mainly for business degrees and postgraduates) then the Talbot Campus which is the main hub for all students with some incredible facilities for all faculties, the home of our Students Union (SUBU) and our own sports facility SportBU who also own an off-site facility called Chapel Gate for the big team sports like Football and Rugby!

In terms of student life, Bournemouth is a great student town with lots of shopping, bars, clubs and restaurants so plenty to do! And the university will help you get started in the local area by utilising the ResLifeBU who have members of their team (current students) living in halls as well to help you get started!

I really love Bournemouth and can't wait to go back in September after taking a year out to do my placement year as a Production Management Intern at Disney!!
