Hi!! How long did it take you to come up with the initial idea for your product? Does the idea of your product have to be unique?

An important thing to note is that you don't have to come up with your idea now, I took a few weeks to come up with my idea. In this time I would highly recommend asking everyone (friends, family, relatives, teachers, random people on the internet) what they think. Getting a lot of opinions really helped me figure out what I actually wanted to do, even if it had the side effect of making everyone annoyed with how much I talked of NEA ideas.
