Who was the dumper? Choose for your own happiness. Remember that people who only want you back when you get attention from another person never truly loved you. I don't think that your ex is an understanding person, but if he is tell him that you are happy now and that there is a reason things didn't work out between you guys. Maybe you don't have to tskr me too seriously since I have never ever been in a relationship, but I think that if a relation already didn't work out the first time it will not wprk put the secon time either and I hope your ex will see that in too.
