PSYCHOLOGY DEGREE strath v glasgow

Hello, I need to make a decision on if I should confirm Strathclyde or Glasgow for a psychology degree.
Glasgow uni obviously has the better reputation however on the offer holder day they stressed the emphasis on maths and coding in their course.
i am aware psychology includes maths and statistics, however I am not the best at maths, getting a B in national 5 maths. I am prepared to put in the work for maths but I would prefer to do the minimum amount possible.
Strathclyde seems to have a less emphasis on maths in their course, and especially coding.
I have a few days left to pick and I don't know what to do.... please help!

Hey Anon! Sorry you've not had any replies here yet! You've got two great options to be considering.

We have elements of maths in our Psychology degrees as you say, but we also run maths and stats classes to help with bringing you up to speed with anything you need help with. We know that elements of the maths can be a bit daunting but the classes will help you understand anything you need to. And getting a B in your Nat 5 is good so you'll maybe get on better than you think!! Is it worth asking whether there's a similar intro/support module to the Maths and Stats you could take at Glasgow?

I'd say go to the University which appeals to you most. Pick the course and the uni which excites you more, and which has modules which you'd look forward to studying. Compare all the classes and have a think about how you'd structure your degree. If you've visited the campuses before - which one did you feel was more *you*?

There's no right or wrong answer really, it's all about what the best fit for you and your priorities are.
