Accommodation for foundation year

I am doing medicine foundation year (hopefully) this year in Nottingham, the university website states that the majority of the course will be taught in derby so I am unsure whether to find accommodation in Nottingham or in derby?? I want to stay in Nottingham if I can but I wanted to know what will be better
