Hi, i’m planning on going to YSJ this year to study Environmental Geography!!
Is anyone else going?
also, does anyone know what the contact hours are like?

Congratulations on your place to study with us!
I am currently just finishing off my final year in Environmental Geography and have really enjoyed my time here. The staff and students on the course are all really lovely and willing to help you whenever you need help.
The contact hours are around 9 hours per week (3 hours per module per week) with the expectation to independently study outside these hours working on the assignments which have been set. There are some weeks when the contact hours are more and others when they are slightly less due to fieldtrips etc... Also when you get to final year the hours drop to about 6 hours a week to allow extra time to focus on your dissertation.
