URGENT PLEASE HELP i would like to study the fastrack course for Science at Edge hill i,m currently doing my A levels and didnt take any science related A levels so i'm hoping i could possibly get onto the fast track which starts in June so i could enroll for a Biomed Undergrad program in sept. (i'm 18 do i still have a chance of applying or is it just for those thatve taken time out over 18 etc) i would appreciate if u could reply

Just to confirm:

‘You should also be aware that this Fastrack course is designed to enable progression onto a degree at Edge Hill University and may not be accepted by other institutions.’

Are you sitting your A Level exams this year? If you are, and applied for June 7 week course, there may have been overlap between your A Level exams and the fast-track course,

Also:
‘Applications for Nursing, Teaching and Operating Department Practice pathways for June 2024 entry are now closed.
Applications for all other pathways for June 2024 entry close on 7th May.’
You cannot apply for June.

Can you consider doing foundation year biomed degree, through clearing. Or a biomed undergrad if there is 1 that doesnt require A Level science?

Thank you so much for your reply. I would’ve applied for a foundation but i was predicted 3 U’s and i’m most likely going to get 3 U’s my A levels haven’t gone so well so far and there are many blanks in my notes and I didnt pay much attention in lessons due to my mental health. So i did try to apply for foundation but i wont have enough UCAS so i’m hoping to apply here for a fast track so I can gain entry into an undergrad. I know it may overlap with my A levels but i’d make time up to catch up w it .. would u know if i am able to start as a student doing A levels at the same time ? Many thanks

Hi @alzhusss16,

Unfortunately, our June 2024 Fastrack applications are closed. Typically, our Fastrack course is aimed at mature students with no or only a few qualifications. Therefore, if you are eligible for college age education, you may not be eligible for our Fastrack. However, applications are reviewed on an individual basis. Application for June 2025 will be open in early December 2024.If you currently hold an offer for Edge Hill University, I would recommend contacting [email protected] to discuss the conditions of your offer and process on Results Day.
