Warwick and Surrey?

I have applied to the following Unis and received conditional offers
Warwick - BA - law and sociology
Surrey - LLB
RHUL - LLB law and sociology
Birmingham - BA Sociology
QMUL - BA Politics and Sociology

I’m interested in pursuing Law but want to go to a good Uni, which ones should I put down as my Firm and insurance choice? Should I put Warwick as first and Surrey as insurance? Are any others better choices / conversion course route later on via Birmingham for example.

Hi!
Firstly congratulations!
I would look at different universities and how they rank in terms of law itself but in general Warwick is the best university that you have applied for and it is particularly good for law so I definitely recommend it! For your second Birmingham and Surrey rank extremely close together although consider the fact that Birmingham is Russel group and Surrey is not. QMUL is also Russel group but does not rank as high. So I would say Birmingham but also just take into consideration where you actually want to be as honestly it doesn’t matter as much as you think between high achieving universities and those choices are all good.
Have a good day and let the thread know what you decide

Hi there!

Congrats on all your offers! 😁

In case you did choose Surrey as your insurance or are still considering it, the uni has a student life page that you can read for an idea of what living in Guildford and studying here is like. For its proximity to London, the accommodation prices are also very reasonable.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about Surrey and I'll be happy to help 🙂
