Can you go from a grade 7 to an 8 in one day?

I've got math's on Monday and I haven't revised(trying to secure 9s in sciences and history), but I'm so finished for maths. Does anyone have any tips to help me improve by just one grade. I know I messed up paper 1 and got like mid 40s but for a grade 8 you need like 56 on each paper, meaning I need to get at least 60 on each paper to get an 8. Is it too much to ask? I know all the concepts(except probability) but when the final questions come up I just don't know where to start. How do I improve this in one day. Please help.

best way is definitely grind past papers for maths. i usually do them in a lot less time than the paper allows (partly because it's boring to sit down and check thru answers repeatedly and also because it's kind of a waste of time) and then mark them, go through the Qs u got wrong and learn how to do those types ofquestions. if u make silly errors it can also serve as an indicator of the types of mistakes u might make in the real exam and u can be more aware to those when checking ur paper

I only have one day, do you reckon I just attempt the harder questions and then learn how to do the ones I make mistakes in?

it really depends on what you struggle with. i personally feel like i could get thru many papers in a day (usually high grade 9) so it depends on what you think your level is at. if you tend to get most of the earlier questions right, you can just go through say 5-6 papers tomorrow and attempt the last ~5 questions in each paper

Strongly recommend that you spend half an hour or so reading examiner’s reports for some papers. They do actually help you avoid slinging away careless gimme marks for a start.
