What A level subjects should i pick if i wanna go into forensic psychology?

I really DONT WANT TO DO science. My O level subjects went like english, math, english lit, economics, business and accounting. For A levels i was thinking of English lit again, psychology and law

that would work very well! you could also do sociology so you understand how society is made up, whole nature nurture but in a dif lens than psych which is very valuable for forensics

Psychology at Uni is a science based degree and relies heavily on science/maths.
If you are more interested in the social science side of psychology, look at subjects like :
Psychology (Mental Health) BSc (Hons) Undergraduate Course | Nottingham Trent University
Psychology & Criminology, BSc (Hons) - UCLan
Sociology and Psychology, BSc (Hons) - Swansea University
Education with Psychology BA (Hons) (bath.ac.uk)

Hi there!

Please do look around on UCAS at different degree types involving Forensic Psychology, as not all of them require any science subjects at all!

Here at LJMU, we offer Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Psychology and Criminology as degrees. For all three of these courses, you don’t need any science A-levels (even Psychology!).

So as far as picking your A-level options, pick what you love doing and are good at! If pure science is not for you then that’s okay! Doing a Psychology A-level should help cover all the maths you should need for doing it at Uni, and even if not then everything is taught from a basic level anyways

If you’re interested in our Forensic Psych courses at LJMU, the link to read more about them is here:

Hi @344days,

It's great to hear that you interested in forensic psychology. Here at UCLan we do offer a course in BSc (Hons)
Forensic Psychology which we don't ask for an A-level in science as part of the entry requirements. I'd do a bit of research as I'm sure there will be other courses and universities that don't require this either.

If you are interested in learning more about studying Forensic Psychology here at UCLan, you are welcome to check out our course page linked here for full entry requirements and course modules.

If you have any questions at all, I'd be happy to help. 😊

Best wishes
