I am 18 & haven't had sex or a boyfriend I have started self pleasuring .I'm due on my period so feel the urge to do it more - I am also going through my a levels so I am stressed which I've heard heightens the need for this. Is this normal?

Honestly its totally normal in fact its healthy. Whenever you masterbate it releases endorphins which calms you down and provides a form of natural pain relief. As for fingering, it is totally normal to feel scared, its unlikely that youll bleed and even if you did itll only be from a small graze typically from fingernails, so i would recommend cutting and filing your nails first. If youre worried about bleeding from your hymen breaking, its uncommon from just fingering alone, and its relitively painless all that happens is some spotting for a day or two. Plus, only around 50% of people bleed after having sex for the first time since your hymen can break from anything like sitting on a bike seat.

i think its completely normal, as a guy to not have had sex or a girlfriend ive learned u just need to wait things out for the right one to come to you and be there for you.

Yeah it's normal and it's something that definitely can relieve a bit of stress for some people, also yeah if you're single it's definitely normal. Just make sure it doesn't turn into an obsession or anything and it's fine!
