Sociable Leeds Accommodation?

Hi, I was just wondering what the best first year accommodations for socialising are in Leeds? I dropped out of another uni because no one talked to each other in my halls, and there were a lot of people that didn’t speak English in my housing, so I’m just trying to avoid the same situation again. If anyone knows what accommodations are social and maybe any accommodations to avoid that are self catered, that would be really helpful thanks 🙏.

Housing is mostly up to chance based on who your flatmates are, but the ones with reputation are:
Montague Burton
Henry Price
Central Village
White Rose
James Bailey
Since these ones are know to be more social it may draw those types of people. Then again all flats have the ability to be social or anti social depending on the people who are in them. Hope uni goes better for you this time around

I know someone in Charles Morris and they're really nice and sociable. Apparently their flatmates not so much though. It has less of a reputation than the ones I listed but I'm sure it could be social!

In my honest opinion though (personal preference, take lightly) Charles Morris is my least favorite of all the accommodation I have been in since coming to Leeds. It's structured more like a hotel than a flat. You NEED your key card not just for the building, but for your bedroom and kitchen too. Leave your keys in your room accidentally? You must go to the front desk to be let back in. This includes if your coming back late from a night out.

With the money you would be paying for it I'd personally go to a different accomodation. That's just my opinion though, if you are dead set on Charles Morris go for it

So the (possibly bad) news is that Carlton Hill is a new accomodation, meaning it doesn't have a reputation yet. It's also one of the only accomodations I've not been in yet.

Good news though is that it's got the formula to be a social one! It appears to have a big social area and is close to the city centre, which means it could gain the same reputation as white Rose.
Speaking of white Rose, it's currently considered to be the most luxurious accomodation at the moment. Mabey look at it and see if it's also what your into?

Either way Carlton Hill looks like it's got potential! I'd say go for it!! (You're also the closest to Aldi it seems)
