Maths paper 2 igcse

Basically my maths paper 2 exam is tomorrow and I wanted to ask if simultaneous, vectors or indices will come up on the exam? If yes/no, then what more other topics will be on it?

what, trig? it makes a lotta sense to me (unlike the rest of the coursework haha) cause it's just formulae! and u get most of them in the exam... just remember, if it's got a right angle, use pythagoras' theorem or SOH CAH TOA, and if it's not, use the cosine or sine rule!

Can I just use tan cos sine?

Like for quadratic? I just learned about sine cos tan in trigonometry. So is it okay if I can just use those for the quadratic?

Ig u could say that its the cosine and sine rule or maybe TOH CAH SOH

Reply 12

well they're all for solving diff stuff, like, you can't pick and choose, for some problems u will need cosine, others u will need pythagoras
but in the exam u get sine and cosine formulas, so long as u know how to rearrange them and u know a^2=b^2+c^2 and sohcahtoa ur good for trig at least ^^

Alr tysm and is soh cah toa kind of similar to sine cos tan? Or is it the same?

SOH CAH TOA means SIne= Opposite/Hypotenuse, Cosine=Adjacent/Hypotenuse, Tangent=Opposite/Adjacent. So yes, it correlates with sine cos tan.
