Amount of chemistry in pharmacy?

Hi, i was thinking about studying pharmacy at uni as i quite liked the course content at the uni i want to go to. However I was told that the foundations of pharmacy is a lot of chemistry. I quite like organic and inorganic chem, but i struggle a bit in physical chem. I was just wondering what type of chemistry is most prevalent in pharmacy?
Thanks

Hi @Dawudk

The level of chemistry might differ depending on what university you go to. Most of the chemistry is Organic but there is some inorganic in different modules. We also have pharmaceutical lectures as well which does bring into some physical chemistry into how powders flow and how light might degrade drugs. If you do find certain aspects of the course difficult, the lecturers are very good at offering you help, and they always teach the basics and build it up so that is a big help!

If you have any other questions please ask!
