Dentistry application//GCSE’s

Hey im a year 12 student wanting to apply to dentistry but i got a 5 in maths gcse so im resitting currently. My gcses are 87776665 with maths pending as im redoing. What unis can i apply to with my gcses considering the fact in resitting. Maths paper 1 was a disgusting paper so could someone pls let me know where I could apply if i got a 6 in maths resit and then if i got a 7. I really want to study dentistry but im not sure if their resit policy apply to just a levels or gcses. Also pls let me know if u think me applying is worth it or if I should just go for biomed then convert to dentistry for my 2nd year. Thank you.

it depends on which unis you want to apply to, for example i know some require at least 7 grade 7s or smth like that. try looking on here Dental-school-entry-requirements-2022.pdf (dentalschoolscouncil.ac.uk) though it might be out of date. best thing to do is email individual unis through the dent undergrad admissions email and check!
