LSE economics 2025 entry

Hi!!
I want to apply to LSE economics (2025 entry) and the issue is that i havent done many activities relating to maths. I know it gives me disadvantage over other applicants, other than that i think i fit the criteria, so should i or should i not bother applying to lse?

I think you need to have Further Maths and Maths for Pure Economics. Have you checked their website?

Hi. I got an offer for LSE Economics with a personal statement purely centred around Econ. I participated in one maths competition that think I bought up briefly, but that's it. With regards to maths, as long as you're expecting to get good grades on Maths/F.Maths A-levels then you're a competitive candidate.

You should make sure that you have done reading and supercurriculars for economics for a good personal statement.

hi im a prospective student and was just wondering if ispp and econ lse vs econ and global sustainable development is better for a career in finance/ consulting? Is lse really as toxic as people make it seem, and can you still get a really good uni experience from there?

Hey there. Sorry, I didn't actually accept my offer from LSE so I can't really speak to that. Consider making a new post in this thread if you don't get a response here?

Hi first of all many congratulations for getting offer from LSE. I am also aiming for the same. Could you pls elaborate more which extra curriculum activities you did that may have made your application stand out. Also any particular books to read apart from the commons ones
Thank you

Hi, can I ask you what sort of Econ based reading and supercurriculars did you do? I am also aiaming LSE and I am still in year 12 so I have enough time to do this. Your advise would be great. Also do oyu think FM is MUST for Economics at LSE?
