Seeking Advice on Funding Options for 4th Year Full-Time PhD Student Without Stipend
I’m reaching out to seek some advice regarding my current situation. I am a full-time PhD student in the UK, and I’ve just started my fourth year this month. Unfortunately, my stipend, which was provided for the first three years, has now stopped. As a result, I find myself without any financial support for the remainder of my PhD.
I am looking for alternative funding options that might be available to me as a full-time PhD student in my fourth year.
I do have investments that I made a few years back, amounting to over £30,000. This might stop me from claiming some benefits and funding. If there is no alternative, I'll probably have to liquidate these investments even at a loss.
