Masters in Clinical Psychology

I'm an international student who is done with my under graduation, I wanted to apply for masters in clinical psychology but there are no accredited courses for the same.
Can someone help me with how to proceed and what my job opportunities will be like if I did the unaccredited masters course?

Masters are typically not accredited, since you get your accreditation in your undergraduate degree. If you did not do your undergraduate psychology degree in the UK, then you need to apply separately to get your accreditation / graduate membership with the BPS, since without it your job prospects will be severely limited in the UK.

Go to https://www.bps.org.uk/graduate-membership-gmbpss and read the bit about applicants without UK qualifications so you know what you need to do to apply.

And to add, you need the doctorate in clinical psychology to be a qualified clinical psychologist, not any of the masters on offer. People may use it as a way to improve their chances for getting onto the doctorate. You need a right to work in the UK to be eligible for the doctorate and it is very competitive

Hi! Thank you so much for replying. So my undergraduate degree is an accredited degree even though it's from outside of UK. Does that mean I can do unaccredited Masters and get jobs?

Thank you for replying! I do know that I would require doctorate for a clinical psychologist job, I was wondering if I could do any other jobs with the masters degree. Like an assistance to clinical psychologists

Thank you for replying! My undergraduate degree is accredited degree but it's not from UK. Is it still okay to do unaccredited masters? I also wanted to know if this Masters degree will be valid in other countries or not?

It doesn't matter if the masters is not accredited if you already have an undergraduate accredited degree. You may be able to get an Assistant Psychologist job, but they are very competitive so you are likely to need additional work experience too if you don't already have that. You don't need a masters to get those jobs though
