He kept talking to me

My guy friend was texting me 24/7, right? Mostly he was talking to me about how much he hates his ex. Then suddenly, out of the blue, he was telling me he didnt want to be friends with me anymore. Then he told me to shut the **** up and to stop talking to him. I responded with "Okay, I will" but then he kept on texting me still, so I responded to him. Then he was telling me to shut the **** up and stop talking to him AGAIN. What does that mean? Him talking to ME then when I respond he tells me to shut up and stop.

I hope he NEVER liked me. FYI, now hes dating like 40,000 people at once

WELL CLEARLY HE'S GOING THROUGH SOMETHING BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN HE TAKES IT OUT ON YOU!?!?!? How ignorant!! Okay, sure, he's got his own issues, but you're his FRIEND, not his THERAPIST, i can only imagine how draining it must have been to have him yapping about his ex, but on top of that telling you to shut up and even swearing at you??? When you aren't even at fault!?!?!? That's some new level of crazy.
Right now, I'd say to not talk to him, give him time to cool down and then approach him irl or text him if need be, ask him why he doesn't wanna be ur friend anymore (if he's a friend worth keeping, that is. Otherwise just let him leave, guard your peace.) Talk it out, it may be a misunderstanding of some sort, perhaps he's feeling overly emotional? Be mature about it, but if at any moment you feel you're being treated like crap, disregarded, then the best thing to do is leave him be. If he cherishes you he'll reach out again when he realises what he did was wrong. But idk tho ultimately its your choice!! Wishing you luck...
