Advice for university preparation as a BTEC applied science student

Hi everyone i am currently finishing my first year of level 3 BTEC applied science. i wanted to ask for those who did (or didn't any advice is appreciated) how did you prepare for the second year, the university process
etc. Also i haven't not done many work experiences and i wanted to ask what kind of work experience would you recommend to do? what kinda of programs should i do to enhance my personal statement? i have 2 free months this summer and i want to solely dedicate that to make my second year easier. Especially personal statement. And just overall i would appreciate any advice? FYI, i currently have DDM in 3 units and i am awaiting for the results of my 3 other units. unit 1 results will be in august. Thank you soo much!

First of all start revising earlier for your exam units which are unit 5 and unit 7.try doing some work over the summer. For unit 5 just watch YouTube videos and invest in buying a whiteboard as that’s where you can practise writing answer to exam style question.for unit 7 you need to know the layout of the exam each year it’s the same layout and same style of question.Moving onto personal statement just be passionate in why you want to do the course and when explaining the skills you have back it up with evidence
