I reckon Rishi is doing better. He exposed a problem with starmer with tax rises and starmer has just avoided it

Yeah Starmer is simply dodging questions.

Reminds me of America, people voting and backing Biden because he ain’t Trump, not because Biden is actually any good.

He talked about negotiation being a solution to the strikes situation.

That's code for 'what the government does but I'll cave more'.

"English children are the best readers anywhere" - Starmer
I think he means they are the best readers in anywhere in England

Yes I’m not convinced with this statement from him.

Yes England is the birthplace on English but still…

I was being sarcastic.

Rishi needs to make more points than 2 grand tax rises. Its been mentioned at least 10 times. And now they are gonna talk about it more

What does this mean?

In Pakistan, the army chooses the president. When Imran Khan was in power, he fell out with the army and got out of power. That nearly caused him to die. So in pk it isn't the case

PISA rankings have increased though not to number 1.

Credit for that should go to Gove despite all the whining a decade ago.

No I was saying that Rishi was giving a stat like "my only child is my best child" which isn't a fair fact because there is only one child
Pensioners already pay tax... no?

Most people don't watch debates. They see front pages on the media and news clips. That's why you see buzz words.

Can’t tell if this is better than the French debates or not.

Sunak got close to a win on the tax question. Starmer held but was clearly less comfortable without a simple statement (public don't care for long technical answers).
