‘With an emphasis on problem based learning, full body dissection and general practice placements from the first year of studying, the teaching at Barts is engaging and pro-active.’

I personally have no idea, hope someone more knowledgeable can help

Not all universities do it, there are benefits and drawbacks to this process. It is quite an art and takes a lot of time to do properly. You may be able to do it at other institutions if you elect to intercalate in anatomy in a later year. Many anatomy students will be allocated a specimen that they then dissect fully in stages throughout the year.

Hi,
I am planning on applying to the MSc degree in Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy at the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow.
It looks like a great degree in which a far amount of anatomy and technology are being taught. The teaching team seems pretty approachable and savvy. However, it will be my first time studying abroad, so the move is a bit scary. It would be nice if anyone could tell me about the degree.

I can't advise much on the degree itself, but I am in and around Glasgow quite frequently so if you have any questions about the city I'll do my best to answer them.
I would say post this same post again in the Glasgow uni forum for some more specific advice and maybe meet a few people in your situation who you could make friends with.
Best of luck!
