can I get a 9 I maths

for GCSE according to unofficial mark schemes, I got a 64 on Paper 1 and a 62 on Paper 2. I know it's a confirmed 8 so far, but could I possibly get a Grade 9 in Maths if I do better on Paper 3? What mark should I aim for if I can?

It's definitely possible! The highest the grade boundary has ever been for a 9 is 203/240, so you would have to get 77 on paper 3. But I definitely don't think the boundaries will be that high, considering how hard the first two papers were, so I would aim for around 70s to definitely secure the 9 :smile:

This is the only subject i wanted at least a 9 on. I do, aqa, and so far, im looking at max 126 marks on the first two papers. Sadly, i dont think it's possible to get a 9.
