gcse

If i resit maths and Spanish gcse (7 in yr 11, 9 in resit) because of a sudden health issue that was out of my control, will this affect my probability of getting into a good dental uni (KCL specifically), my gcses: bio-9, chem-9, phys-9, maths-9(resit), furthermaths-9, Eng lang-9
spanish-9(resit), art-7, eng lit-8, it-7, drama-7, rs-7

Hi there,
Congratulations on those grades! You have clearly shown you are an able student, and with this evidence, as well as explaining the unfortunate circumstances on your uni application, there is no reason you should be disadvantaged for uni! Make sure to continue achieving high grades in college/sixth form etc etc.
Some of the universities I have looked into myself, take into account mitigating circumstances, given that they’re genuinely something out of your control.
Don’t be discouraged and good luck!

Don’t fully trust this, but I think employers and unis can only see what course you take and your final grade, not how many times you take the course
