Chemistry alevel

I’ve just gotten back my Yr 12 Chemistry mock and I ended up with a D. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve and do I still have a chance of getting a higher grade before ucas submissions

Do as many exam questions as possible. No joke, it works like magic. Just a couple every day and you should get through them in a year's time. Use flashcards for definitions only; flashcards for anything else is pointless (in my opinion). Use the mark scheme to mark your answers (don't cheat and be strict). You're probably gonna have to beg whoever's in charge of the submissions to put a higher grade on your application... but it's worth a shot! Also, that kinetic energy question seems to come up all the time. It's a really easy 5 marks to bag!

do ALL the past papers and mark them as many times as you need until youve got the grade youre aiming for. whatever you get wrong watch a video on it and take notes, it takes ages but mums its so worth it
