My sibling volunteereed at a nursing home for 4 years all throughout school. She got lots of experience and genuinely enjoyed it, always coming home with funny stories or advice from the old ladies. She had lots to talk about when it came time to apply to university. I'm not sure which would be more beneficial for work experience, but the nursing home can be great overall life experience.

unless a course youre looking at has any specific requirements i dont think it would really matter, i went to a pharmacy in secondary school and i really enjoyed it. might be worth looking into nhs work experience as well, would look really good on your personal statement.

Hi thanks for the reply I tried looking for nhs work experience as I thought it would be ideal but most of the applications get taken up quickly and aren't offered easily, do you have any ideas as to how to get past this issue?
