Should I bother to reply?

I am 19 and have just started a new job and one of my colleagues added me on snapchat. We've been snapping for a 4 weeks but now they just send one word answers and never ask me anything anymore, it just seems they can't be bothered and I'm the only one making an effort. They now also just send random blurry pics. Should I just stop replying and move on? I just feel kinda sad because I thought I was making a friend and can't work out why they're not bothering

Yeah i would stop replying, or at least give very slow replies. If the conversation isnt going anywhere and they aren't putting effort, you have the right to stop replying.

You should put in as much effort as they do, a friend that barely replies isnt worth it
How about talking, meeting up and going out together in real life? That's what friends do...

Yeah I wouldn’t put in the effort anymore if the other person isn’t reciprocating it. Trust me, I’ve been there and it drained the hell out of me!!! See how they act with you irl though, if they’re not engaging with you at any time then I’d say just leave the other person be
