physical geography nea

Hi, I have to start picking my topic for my NEA and I’ve been really conflicted about doing physical (which interests me more) or human. I wanted to know what types of questions I could have if I did an NEA on the carbon cycle or water cycle and what I could do for primary data collection.
Thanks

Genuinely pick something you enjoy and it will be the difference between you slogging through months of work and you actively wanting to complete it, which can be the difference between a grade. I personally did human, so I'm not sure what kinds of questions you could do for water and carbon cycles, but I'm sure there are YouTube videos out there you can have a look at.

Hi, I'm having the same problem you are
You can assess the water quality of a certain area or observe how a certain change to the area like a change in land use or urbanisation affects the water cycle or carbon cycle.
for primary data collection, you can buy a colorimeter, photometer or test strip to find the water quality. To measure the CO2 amount in the atmosphere, you could get a CO2 meter or sensor. You can also measure the size of a tree, like the circumference, and height to work out the amount of CO2 in.
Also there's a website called 'Field STudies Council' which have many different geography data methods, presentation and evaluations for you.
Hope this helps <3
