For those who have never dated, what is your view on human relationship?

I would like to hear your insights.

I've never dated, not because I don't want to but because I haven't found the right person, I believe in true love and am a hopeless romantic but I actually think a better term would be hopeful romantic. I believe that a relationship should be built on a foundation of trust and respect. And when i think of love I don't think the best looking person or the richest but the person who makes me smile or laugh everyday who puts me at ease, so no matter a romantic relationship or a friendship I do think that it should be someone who makes you happy and makes you feel good about being yourself. So that's what I think lol.

I view romantic relationships kind of like having a best friend. You share your experiences and memories with one another, laugh with each other, and provide support when your partner is feeling down. If one partner feels too exhausted to do something, the other picks up their slack for them, vice versa. I want to explore places with my partner (if I ever have one lol) and I think being with someone inspirational and supportive is really important. Because you can learn a lot from them and grow as a person. So even though I might meet someone who I find physically attractive, I think who they and what value they can bring into my life is crucial. I don't want to waste my time getting with someone who I don't truly value or am compatible with. Honestly, growing up my parents never talked about the romance side of relationships, only the 'support' side of it so that might be why I view relationships this way.
