Are GCSEs and A-levels being recognised in EU countries?

Hey! I am currently year 12 and I am thinking of applying for universities in UK and abroad, specifically Netherlands or Switzerland. I've studied GCSEs and I am currently studying A-levels and I was wondering if these two qualifications will be recognised by these two countries. I know there are IGCSE and A-levels (internationals) but my school does not offer those and I want to know if I can still apply abroad.

Hey, I’m not going to be of great help but you can probably apply and will then be asked to complete entry tests depending on the course you take. This combined with your grades will then get averaged and you’ll be offered a place based on that. Some european countries do that but I’m not 100% sure if it applies for the netherlands or switzerland… good luck, I hope someone who fully knows answers this!!
