Is learn direct worth it

I enrolled in to the veterinary nursing assistant course and I’ve see a lot of bad reviews and now I’m really nervous

Are you doing this as part of an apprenticeship?

Veterinary nursing assistants don't need any qualifications in the UK as far as I am aware. This means you are actually able to apply for a veterinary nursing assistant (or veterinary care assistant, or animal care assistant etc) job in a clinic right now. You don't need the Learndirect course to do that.

However, if you have a job/apprenticeship job already lined up in a clinic, I have heard of some people taking similar veterinary nursing assistant courses as required by their employer, before they go on to train as student veterinary nurses (and undertake the veterinary nursing course).

Whether or not the Learndirect course is right for you kind of depends on how old you are and what you're aiming to do. Is your aim to become a vet nurse?

I wanna eventually become a vet or nurse I was told that if I do this course, it would be easier for me to actually become a nurse

The quickest and easiest way to become a veterinary nurse is to apply to a veterinary nursing course/apprenticeship at your local college. I believe you only need GCSEs to do this - at least at my local college you only need GCSEs.
Depending on your current qualifications, you can also consider applying to veterinary nursing at university, however this costs more money through tuition fees etc.

Whilst the LearnDirect course might help, it isn't really the most direct route to become a veterinary nurse.
