Someone I know went from a low GCSE language grade to a 9 and she now does that subject at A-level, and is one of the best in her class. She set her phone settings to that language, watched Netflix in that language and watched YouTubers in that language.

That's the easiest and fastest way to improve your language skills. Immerse yourself in it. There are a lot of good German TV shows and films.

Hi, languages are some of the hardest subjects to revise 'quickly' for - you can't really cram a language. My advice is to start practicing a little every day, even if it's just a small duolingo streak or a few flashcards. One thing that's really important are translations, so try and find and do as many as possible - i used the "pearson edexcel grammar and translation workbook" and did all of the ones in there.
For writing exams, many of the same questions crop up - so learn as many phrases as possible that u can use interchangeably (e.g. "ich denke, dass" and "ich glaube, dass") - i have a massive list if u want it. Also, if u have prewritten and checked answers to speaking questions, learn them and you will find u can js 'copy and paste' them onto your writing.
For listening and reading do as many practice questions as possible - especially older exams bc aqa tend to repeat questions. if u 'run out,' use ones from similar exam boards. Listening to music and watching tv in the language helps, but if you can't be bothered even using german subtitles help!

I agree with all these posts. Practice regularly. I found the main thing with GCSE was vocabulary as there isn't much of an emphasis on grammar at GCSE

I did AQA and there were these good flashcards which were really useful you could purchase. Aim to learn a certain amount each day but the key is revisiting the vocabulary you learn before. So go over those each day as well.

If you do a quick google search there is a big list of AQA vocabulary as well but that might be a bit overwhelming.

At the end of the day as I think the person before just said there's no instant solution but you still have a while to the exam season so just do little and often revision.
