is anyone else finding GCSEs harder than mocks?

anyone else thinking real gcses have been way worse than mocks

I think I did quite well in my mocks. don't get me wrong i'm not a grade 9 student but I was getting fours and fives and for me, that's more than enough considering I expected a lot worse.

however..

I've found gcses really hard. i don't think its that I haven't revised enough, obviously I would have liked to have revised more but its not that the content is more difficult, its just that the questions seem to be of a much harder level.

i feel angry with myself for not doing better (which is weird cos i don't usually care) but i genuinely don't think its due to my revision i just think i struggled with these specific questions.

anyways hope someone can relate not exactly much i can do now haha
Don't get disheartened! Everyone always remembers what they did wrong, but forget all the questions they answered well.
A lot of the tests this year people have found hard. That's not to say they actually are harder, but you most likely did much better than you think.
Like I think I flopped French, but yea what can I do - I've done all the French tests now.
Just look ahead to all the exams you can affect; after all, you can only do your best

I don't know what exam boards you do but I've been on a weird emotional rollercoaster of feeling really good walking out the exam hall, then feeling like I did bad after a day. Except like maths I feel like they've all been similar to the mocks tho

Hey wanted to say that your not the only one feeling that way!! I sat my GCSE Re paper this year and i have been getting 8/9 throughout my 4 mocks however when it came to the actual exam some of the questions i don't think i answered as good as i usually could've. The exam was also quite easy in many peoples opinions which is why it has made be panic more abt the grade boundaries for it!! I am too feeling quite annoyed with myself for not doing as good as i could've done especially when you put the effort in to revise well😕 Just wanted to say though that you are not alone in this!!
