Which finance role should I choose?

I’ve been given 2 offers, which should I choose?

1. Audit and accounts junior at MHA
- 3 year contract
- starting 30k, up to 60k after ACA completion
- support towards ACA

2. Finance and strategy analyst at MoneyBox
- starting 33k
- no CFA support, but study funds available which cover most of CFA
- no clear career progression in company
- no clear salary progression in company

Regarding the topics, I would think what you want to be doing:
1) Reflects on the past performance of a company, and ensures accurate record keeping
2) Can influence the future of a company, driving strategy.

These are the two aspects I would consider.

I totally agree with you, it's important to look into the company itself and the potential growth and stability that it can take but my concerns were more on the macro perspective such as which option has the greatest trajectory. From my knowledge, whilst the audit role is more stable and safe, it seems to plateau after qualifying whereas with the analyst role, there's not a straight forward path but may have higher future positions.
