Can I talk about future work experience in my personal statement???

I haven't found a work experience placement for the week my school assigned me for so if I apply and get into any in Year 13 can I still mention it in my personal statement even though it hasn't happened by the application deadlines???(Because some placements occur in the summer and I've heard that experience in yr13 doesn't count?!)
The value of relevant work experience is not listing that you did it in your PS. (In the same way that stating that you read a book or did a course is meaningless by itself). Admissions staff are looking for you to reflect critically on the experience. You can’t do this before you complete it.

Have your referee mention that you’ve got it lined up.

Hi
Like the previous post said, the personal statement is an opportunity to reflect critically on your work experiences and placements in your academic journey so far. However, talking about future projects can be a good thing too. Writing about future plans and detailing your thought process about it and goals can show you are a career oriented person and willing to project and look into the future. What is important in this situation is to show how the future placement will help orient you towards your uni journey.
That being said, I would also advise you to try to write about some other work experiences that you already did, just to show that you can, in fact, reflect on things that already happened.
Hope this helps!

I agree with the others. The whole point of work experience is that you're supposed to learn something from it. If you haven't done the WEx yet, then you haven't learned anything yet, and hence it's not worth talking about. Don't worry too much about relevant work experience though, there are plenty of other things you can do in terms of supercurriculars to show interest in your subject (although if you can secure a work experience over this summer that certainly wouldn't do you any harm)
