CIE igcse English Lit Poems

Just curious to hear your favourite poem(s) from the Songs of Ourselves poem anthology. Personally my favourites are the 'on finding a small fly crushed in a book' and 'ozymandias'.

I'm in year 10 and I'm hoping we get either of those next year, but I've heard that the year 11s this year got Ozymandias.

Anyway here is the full list:
‘The City Planners’ -Margaret Atwood
‘The Planners’ - Boey Kim Cheng
‘The Man with Night Sweats’ - Thom Gunn
‘Night Sweat’ - Robert Lowell
‘Rain’ - Edward Thomas
‘The Spirit is too Blunt an Instrument’ - Anne Stevenson
‘From Long Distance’ - Tony Harrison
