What do you prefer/ What is more effective with past papers

When practicing with past papers, is it better to answer each question and check the mark scheme immediately after, or complete the whole paper under timed conditions and then mark it all at once?

I'd say that once you have covered all the content, try the full paper under timed conditions and then mark it, don't copy down answers from the mark scheme as you won't learn this way. Note down the topics you did bad in, revise them and then reattempt the questions that you got wrong. If your still getting it wrong then look at the mark scheme and try similar exam questions just to consolidate. Sometimes I put the question into chatgpt and ask for similar ones so I can get as much practice as possible in. I'd strongly recommend timing yourself as this is something alot of people stuggle with during the actual exams. If you don't have time to do all the content first, do a past paper, mark it and then you can find the topics you are weakest at that way as sometimes it is hard to judge what needs prioritsing.
