Genome vs Genotype

Can someone please explain the difference between Genome and Genotype?
I understand that Genome is all of the genetic material within an organism including its alleles etc
I understand that Genotype is like Bb and different variations of genes that code for a trait (not very sure about this one)

Thanks.

From quora:

A genome and a genotype are related concepts in genetics, but they refer to different things:

Genome: The genome refers to the complete set of genetic material (DNA in most organisms) present in an organism. It includes all the genes, as well as non-coding sequences of DNA. The genome contains all the hereditary information necessary for the development, functioning, and reproduction of an organism.

Genotype: The genotype refers to the specific genetic makeup of an individual, with respect to a particular trait or traits. It represents the combination of alleles (alternative forms of a gene) that an individual possesses for a given set of genes. The genotype determines the genetic potential of an organism and influences its observable characteristics or phenotype.
In summary, the genome is the entire genetic material of an organism, while the genotype refers to the specific genetic composition of an individual with respect to certain traits. The genotype is a subset of the information contained within the genome.

Hope this helps?

The genome contains all the genetic information of an organism, it is the entirety of genes. The genotype determines the expression of body parts (nose, mouth, fingers, eyes, haris, etc.) by the alleles, the specific parts of the genes. In other words: it is responsible for the phenotype.

While the genome means the total genetic in general, the genotype with the alleles is a specific part of it.

Thanks a lot Kallisto and olid but I have already finished my biology exams! Maybe it would be helpful to other people wondering about this as well
