It's great to see that you are looking to studying here at UCLan. Which course have you applied for?

Students can usually access course enrolment 6 weeks before their course starts and once they have received their username and created a password.

There's some useful information on how to enrol onto your course here. 😊

Hi @Emmadal23,

It's completely normal to be feeling this way about going to university, I know I felt the exact same way just before starting. It's something completely new so it's understandably going to feel a bit overwhelming to begin with.

But let me reassure you that everyone will be in the same boat as you when you start so you won't be alone. Going to university offers such great experiences and it gives you the chance to meet new people and make friends for life.

Here at UCLan we run lot's of events at welcome/freshers week, this gives new students the chance to settle into university life and if you are staying in student accommodation, this is a great opportunity to get to know those you will be living with. During this week, the Students Union run a freshers fair where you can meet new students as well as a sports and societies fair where you can have a chat to representatives about signing up.

We also have a fantastic student support team at the university who are here to offer support with all aspects of student life, so if you ever feel like you need someone to talk to, the team are here to listen.
