Acceptance into uni with less than requirements.
So I’ve applied for Journalism with foundation year at BCU, and for that I need CDD.
I do BTEC Applied Science, Geography and English Lang, and need 80 UCAS points from those 3.
I already know my BTEC Applied Science will be at a pass, but that’s only equivalent to an E, so what if I get only a D/C on my 2 A-Levels, will I still be accepted on results day even if the total of that is 72 UCAS points?

Nobody but the university can answer that and often wont know until A level results day when ALL the results are known.
Most universities tend to accept 1 or 2 dropped grades so there is a chance but that isnt guaranteed.

Unfortunately, we can't answer this until results day when your results are released.
