A-level Study Apps or Websites

Hey! I just wanted to ask a question seen as I’m going to be doing A-levels in September and currently finding it difficult to find study apps or websites that suites me ready for it.

By the way I will be doing Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. This may help you narrow your advice down, I’m not sure?? 😅

Basically I’m trying to find either study apps or websites or even both that like teach you the content you need to know like fun PowerPoints that go through the specification needs but also make it engaging for all, or videos that like again teach the specification but in a fun way with acronyms but also maybe like simple yet understanding diagrams, or even like quick little recap slides or cards that summaries the topics for quick recall and etc…

I use an Apple iPad so I can only download apps from the iTunes app by the way.

But also I don’t want to be able to pay to download the app as I’m just trying to get advice from others which have answers and I don’t want to waste my money with something that may not actually work for me like it works for you or others.

Thanks for taking the time to read the whole thing! 😅

Anything is greatly appreciated and have a good day! 😁

I do psychology, economics, and sociology. For AQA psychology, I recommend PsychBoost and SM Cartalidge on YouTube. They provide all the information you need to know in concise, short videos. PsychBoost also has a revision app with flashcards of all the information from their YouTube videos. The app includes keywords and definitions for interactive learning. I paid two pounds to access the content for Papers 1, 2, and 3, but Paper 1 content is free, so you can try it out and see if it helps.

Hi, I would recommend Seneca for active recall of concepts and summaries, and also Gimzo Ai which is a fun way to go over flashcards!

You can try Tailored Tutors, they teach biology and chemistry. I'm using them at the moment, but it's not the cheapest option.
