What should I wear to an interview?

Hey!!

This is my first proper interview for a TA in a school. Do I wear a blazer and trousers? Or something slightly causally like blazer and jeans or trousers and trainers? Kind of stressing out!!

Don’t panic wear something casual but put together something that you are comfortable and feel confident in but is still quite formal but in a casual way so a good pair of trousers and a nice shirt or a good pair of jeans with nice shoes and a top as long blazer is not necessary however they will not judge you if you do as they will see you take pride in your appearance and wanted to be professional!! I know first impressions matter but honestly as long as you look clean, smart and tidy in someway shape or form you are good to go. You wear the outfit and don’t let the outfit wear you!
No jeans, no trainers!

You are going for a job where you are setting an example and will have responsibility, so go smart; suit or jacket and chinos, belt, tie, shoes. The saying is you can dress down an outfit but you can't dress up, which means if you go casual you can't smarten up but if it was very warm you could ask to take your jacket off and still look the part.
