Personal statement

Can I have a good example of person statement to apply post graduate.

The whole point of a PG personal statement is that it’s both personal to you and custom written for that specific course and university.
Looking at examples isn’t going to be much help

I think it will help just to look how people already done. I can understand its purely personal.
It's fine thanks

Hi, I work in postgrad admissions.

I would be very wary of using another persons PS as any sort of guide. Unlike an undergrad app, where the PS's tend to follow a similar/standard format, for postgrad unis tend to have bespoke criteria which they are looking to score against. For this reason, a solid PS for one uni/course may be absolute garbage for another.

I would highly recommend reviewing any published guidance on the unis course page. They will usually allude to what they want covered. You can also attend any application webinars or email them and they will have a standard set of advice to give you.

Another point I would make is that it is very obvious were someone has been coached to write their PS. It is immediately obvious when you read as many PS's as me, as they are universally very generic and unengaging to read. Ones where the applicant has started with a clean sheet genuinely are better and are inherently more 'personal' to the author.

The best advice I was given for postgrad applications is to answer these questions :

Why this course/research program?

Why this University?

Why me?
