IGCSE Edexcel regional biology paper 2 (1B10/2HR) 7th june

That was actually the worst bio paper I’ve ever seen - nothing on menstrual cycle and barely anything on kidneys. Then to top it off 17 stupid marks on fish farming. Actually went horrible. Anyways how did everyone else find it?

i completely agree that paper was horrendous. i’m hoping grade boundaries will be really low because that was actually the worst biology paper i’ve ever sat what was that. sooo much application and so many things didn’t make any sense!

Exactly, loads of 4 and 5 markers on pointless stuff. All the fish farming questions were just really bad questions in relation to biology content. Everyone I’ve spoken to has said it was terrible aswell so fingers crossed low grade boundaries.

SO SO HORRIBLE i stressed out so much over hormones and kidney stuff and nothing came up -_- more than ten marks on fish farming...? a topic that's only worth one spec point...? and to top it all off that paper that was basically all long answers so i was rushing to finish bad bad bad

yess same everyone’s found the test bad; and yes the fish farming questions weren’t even related to the biology content! the content was about things to do to so u can increase yield of fish or wtv and the questions for the text were sooo weird. i can’t believe no testing energy content of food, menstrual cycle, nitrogen cycle, transpiration or even cloning came up! practically no kidneys and there was no heart in paper 1 or 2. what a horribly put together paper.

Of waste and excrement from abundance of fish, and then said physical infrastructure could end up polluting water🤷*♂️ basically nothing confident. What abt u

YES this was THE worst paper I’ve ever done!!
I walked out the exam hall in tears!
I tried reading the questions multiple times but they were worded soo weirdly. Hopefully the grade boundary are rlly low🤞

I’m pretty sure it wantes area in Mha not percentage. But it was 58 percent on the words deforestation, which equaled to 200 and something Mha I think. Unless I’ve completely flunked it

I had no idea what to put and saved it for last!
All i remember is writing a number in the 70 i think it was around 75.smth
it was such a useless question for ONLY 2 marks!
I’m pretty sure I flunked most of the parts on deforestation and fish farming

Honestly I’m pretty sure fish farming was everyone’s kryptonite..
