The Student Room Group

Calling all aspiring writers and journalists!

I am starting a blog (online website) based on people from the gen z sharing their unique perspectives, outlooks and info on life. I am looking for 4-5 regular writers (one article a month) based on any topic you like within reason and respectful. Please note this is NOT PAID however it is a great opportunity to get your work put out there and seen by perspective employers.

All writers must be -
- between the ages of 18-25
- be in full/part time education or working
- be willing to have their work edited by me (this won’t be heavy editing just tweaking bits)
- live full time in the UK

Your work can either be anonymous or not.

Please PM me if you are interested!

This sort of thing is very difficult (I am 50). The reason is that there are big sites like wattspad and booksie and many more. You also get a problem getting traffic. Can't you just make a niche facebook group, and expand that. But you must narrow it down so that it becomes unique and does not resemble those already on facebook.

I'm 31 but I could always proofread submissions for you. I already write for several websites and I've got a top degree, so I'll be happy to lend my services if you need a proofreader-saves you having to do it!

If you are on the mobile app press the envelope in the top right hand corner, and then the pen at the bottom right corner. Then input my name (mimi.yasmin) and then send me a message. If you're using the internet to access TSR the same envelope can be accessed at the top of the page.
