How did it go? How was it like compared to 2022 and 2023, where the grade boundaries were 51% and 75% respectively? Was it difficult? Let us know your thoughts. :smile:

My take away: questions lowkey weren't too bad. The timings absolutely destroyed my last 2 questions

im retaking further maths so i did last year’s mechanics minor and wtf was this paper. Probably on the same level if not worse imo or my mine just blanked im getting max 50%

What topics came up and what topic was the hardest question? I remember the silly volume centre of mass question that was last year but wb this year?

There was a centre of mass question mixed with forces or moments idek and a couple/ moments question at the back which i didnt have time for was like 12 marks. The collisions question wasnt lowkey too bad but i fumbled the impulse part 7 marks gone.

so meh. first two pages I got them full and then it was just half/quarter marks from there. not too bad as I'm hoping for around 28 as I believe a B will be similar to last year if not less due to the difficult timing

this was doable but was very easy to trip on + the terrible timings make it impossible

this doesnt weight much at all(the stats is basically double lol). if you smash that and the pure you are good

mechanics minor is like 16 percent. pure is 50 percent and the rest is stats. they weigh each component

I think he's saying that cuz he takes stats major, but basically how it works is you have core pure and either 3 minor modules or 1 major module (worth 2 minor modules) and 1 minor module
